Shipping and Returns
Shipping Via UPS (Ground Standard)
Our shipping charges are based on standard UPS or U.S. Mail rates (where applicable), which are based on package weight, size, and distance shipped. The Electric Barn offers UPS Ground, 3rd Day Select, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air and Freight shipping to all of our customers who place orders to be shipped to one of the 48 contiguous United States.
Orders to be shipped out of the 48 contiguous United States (i.e. Alaska and Hawaii) are sent by your choice of US Priority Mail, UPS 2nd Day Air, or UPS Next Day Air delivery. These orders are not eligible for UPS Ground or 3rd Day Select shipping. If you choose Priority Mail, unfortunately, there is no way to track the order in transit.
Delivery and Lead Time
Orders are shipped out same day if placed before 3pm. Larger orders generally need to be placed before 12pm to be shipped out same day.
Since UPS does not ship on Saturdays or Sundays (even for express shipping), the actual delivery date may differ from the estimated transit time. For example: A Next Day Air order, leaving our warehouse on a Friday for New York, will not arrive until Monday, even though it has a one day transit time.
Return Policy
The Sales Manager must authorize all returns or exchanges. E-mail sales@electricbarn.com or call (603) 964-7800 for an RGA (Return Goods Authorization) number.
� All of our circuit breakers are backed with a full one-year replacement warranty. � All claims for shortages and/or damages must be placed within ten days of receipt of merchandise. � All returned merchandise must be received by The Electric Barn in saleable condition, unless the merchandise is found to be defective. � All returns/exchanges must be made within 30 days of invoice date.Customer Returns
The shipping cost of any returns or exchanges remain the responsibility of the customer unless the merchandise is being returned because the order was incorrectly filled by us or the merchandise is defective. Please return shipments to:

If the item is defective, The Electric Barn will replace that item. Request for refund will be given in the form of credit for exchange, based on the value of the merchandise at the time of purchase. Shipping and Handling fees are not subject to refund unless the merchandise is defective or we shipped an incorrect item.
All refunds are applied to the individual customer account unless otherwise specified by Sales Manager or Accounting Department.
Definition of Conditions
Reconditioned: Reconditioned circuit breakers are an excellent option when price is a factor. They always carry a One Year Warranty and you can be assured only the highest quality used circuit breakers can become a The Electric Barn, Inc. Circuit Breakers. Our reconditioned equipment is completely refurbished and ready for use; these models are as reliable as any others that we carry.
New Surplus: A new surplus circuit breaker is a circuit breaker that has never been energized. It may be new older stock or may have been installed in a panel but never had been wired. They always carry a One Year Warranty!
Obsolete: We stock a vast inventory of obsolete or out of production circuit breakers that have been reconditioned and ready for immediate shipment. They always carry a One Year Warranty!
