A Wholesale Electrical Supply Company
Discovering a need for better prices, service and availability for circuit breakers and electrical supplies, The Electric Barn, Inc. was formed. This filled a need for electrical wholesalers and retailers locally and across the United States.
Since then, we've grown from warehousing in Mr. Kohlhase's fathers antique Barn to our modern offices and warehousing complex in North Hampton, New Hampshire. Our extensive inventory includes tens of thousands of circuit breakers, bus duct and accessories, transformers, disconnects, panels and other electrical supplies.
The Electric Barn, Inc. was founded in May of 1995 by David Kohlhase, a second generation family member in the electrical industry. David began his career working as an electrical contractor in 1982 and quickly expanded his business, Kohlhase Electric, Inc., from a one man operation to over 50 employees in 2003.
